Born in Barcelona, fueled by board games.
KLEFF was born in late 2019 with the goal of creating Barcelona's first board-game afterwork. Today we're Europe's largest board game community.

A meeting point for young people from anywhere in the world.
It doesn't matter where you're from or how old you are. The only thing needed to be a #kleffer is wanting to make new friends and learn new ways to have fun. Board games are the perfect excuse we use to connect people and break the ice.

Tuesday game nights, sunny Sundays
Pau starts hosting Tuesday game nights and Sunday brunch-with-games at Parc de la Ciutadella.
KLEFF is born
After a year of weekly meetings, Pau and his partner found KLEFF. Time to turn the hobby into a community.
30+ people every week
The weekly game night becomes a regular thing. Tables fill up, strangers turn into friends.
Pandemic and Treasure Hunts
We keep playing online, then outdoors. The Treasure Hunts are born: 'Discover Barcelona', 'Movie's Walk' and 'The Méliès Case'.
New home: Pasatapas
We move into Restaurante Pasatapas. KLEFF becomes Barcelona's biggest board game community.
Boardgaming for Fun
With Mathom we organize 'Barcelona Boardgaming for Fun' at Movistar Centre, mixing games and audiovisual exhibitions.
L'Estació, 200+ per night
KLEFF reinvents itself: new home at L'Estació – Espai Gastronòmic, more contributors and packed nights of 200+ attendees.
Official association
KLEFF formally registers as a non-profit association. What started as therapy is now a movement.
