KLEFF's New Website
After more than a year without touching the website, we were eager to show you this: KLEFF is launching a brand-new website. Faster, prettier, and, finally, on par with the visual style and good vibes we experience every week at our Barcelona game nights.
Whether you're a lifelong #kleffer or you've just discovered us while searching for board games in Barcelona, this is the place where you'll find everything we are. Let's tell you about the news.
A New Website, With the Same Old DNA
Our previous website had become old and outdated. So we decided to rebuild it from scratch, paying attention to every detail to truly reflect what KLEFF is: an inclusive, multilingual (ES / CAT / EN) community open to all levels of experience.
On the new kleff.es website, you can:
a) Learn about KLEFF's history, milestone by milestone, from 2018 until today.
b) Understand how a game night works: whether you come alone, with a partner, or with friends.
c) Discover our activities and upcoming events: weekly game nights, tournaments, Slow Friending Lúdico, and special events all year round.
d) Access the internal platform for members of the future Associació Lúdica de KLEFF (more on that below).
Goodbye to Old Posts
It's time to be honest. When migrating to the new website, we lost all blog posts from 2022, 2023, and 2024. We know that among those posts there were chronicles, photos, and moments that many of you experienced with us, and we are sad not to be able to keep them online.
We see it as turning a new page (no pun intended): from here on, we are starting a new blog, with fresh content about the community, game recommendations, event chronicles, and association news. If you miss any specific content, write to us and we will try to retrieve it.
The Big News: KLEFF Will Become a Non-Profit Association
And now for the important part. We are formally constituting ourselves as the Associació Lúdica de KLEFF, a non-profit association.
What began in 2019 as a playful after-work gathering among strangers is today one of the largest board game communities in Europe, and it was time to give it an official structure. This allows us to continue growing, collaborate with more venues and publishers, and build something that is from the community and for the community.
As always, recurring activities will remain free (only a minimum consumption of 4 € at l'Estació is requested, to support the venue that opens its doors to us every week).
Platform for Members
The new website includes an internal platform for association members. Being a KLEFF member is not just about supporting the project: it's about unlocking benefits designed for those who truly participate, such as:
a) Game rental from our library of over 500 titles to take home.
b) Priority access to special events and tournaments with limited capacity.
c) Discounts at collaborating stores in Barcelona.
d) An exclusive members' channel, with voting rights on activities and improvement proposals.
We are finalizing the annual fee and the steps to sign up. We will soon have more information and will share it in a blog post and on social media.
